Overview
Liaise with Head Office and the Group’s international network to support the development of the Bank’s international Project Finance business and provide high quality products and services to the Bank’s client.
Write concise business proposals and lead and complete the internal credit process in line with the policies and requirements of the Bank’s procedure.
Ability to analyse strengths and weaknesses of projects/structure in such transactions successfully taking into account the technology and commercial contracts proposed, regulatory and legal backdrop, and counterparties involved.
Collaborate with in-house and external lawyers to complete facility documentation and ensure the agreements are acceptable and protect the Bank’s interests.
Manage a designated portfolio of existing transactions, including the active portfolio management of a subset of existing clients. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, conducting annual reviews, handling waiver requests and completing all associated post-lending management tasks in accordance with the Bank policies and procedures.
Experience / Qualifications
- Degree educated in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
- CFA is preferred
- Solid work experience in the Project Finance sector in a major international banking group
- Good understanding of Project Finance lending products and activities
- Excellent credit analysis skills
- Familiar with all applicable FCA regulations
- Ability to navigate around and understand loan documentation
