Base pay range

£30,000.00 – £35,000.00

Our client is a distinguished, high-performing financial services organisation seeking a Payroll Associate to join its expanding team. This position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment and brings payroll experience. The successful individual will demonstrate strong attention to detail and work in close partnership with the Human Resources function. This role offers significant scope for development as the organisation continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and review of monthly payrolls, liaising with Cloudpay and local payroll providers.
• Maintain accurate payroll records aligned with information held on HiBob HCM.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and employment standards.
• Collaborate closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate and timely data flow.
• Support the preparation and upload of pension files and generation of pension payments.
• Assist with statutory year-end reporting, including P60s and P11Ds.
• Provide timely and professional responses to employee payroll queries.
• Produce payroll reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to data protection requirements at all times.
• Solid numerical and analytical skills.
• Commercial awareness and professionalism in handling confidential information.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of proficiency in Excel.
• Outstanding attention to detail.

Experience & Qualifications

• Prior experience using payroll software.
• Background in a fast-paced payroll or Finance environment is advantageous.
