This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist loss adjusting firm dedicated to supporting high-value, complex claims within the renewable energy sector.

You’ll work on claims involving wind, solar, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), and other emerging clean energy technologies, gaining hands-on experience with some of the most innovative and sustainable projects in the industry.

Our clients include insurers, reinsurers, and renewable energy operators, with claim values ranging from £50,000 to £25 million.

The Role:

As a Junior Loss Adjuster, you’ll split your time between our city office, home working, and site visits across the UK and Europe.

Working closely with senior adjusters, you’ll gain exposure to complex, high-value claims, developing the skills and technical knowledge to progress towards independent case handling.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing renewable energy claims from first notification to settlement.
  • Conduct site visits across the UK & Europe to assess losses and gather evidence.
  • Prepare accurate, professional reports to support negotiations and settlements.
  • Build strong relationships with insurers, brokers, clients, and contractors.
  • Support senior adjusters with negotiations on complex claims.
  • Continuously develop your understanding of renewable energy risks and technologies.
  • Work towards professional qualifications such as CILA or ACII.

About You:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in loss adjusting, insurance claims handling, or a related field.
  • Background in property, engineering, or renewable energy claims is a plus, but full training provided.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
  • Proactive, ambitious, and keen to specialise in renewable energy claims.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and Europe.
