We are mandated by a global investment bank to hire into its London-based e-Fixed Income Sales team. The role will focus on electronic distribution across fixed income products, with particular emphasis on Rates, SSA and broader institutional flow. The successful candidate will work closely with sales and trading teams to grow electronic engagement, deepen client usage across RFQ and streaming platforms, and contribute directly to revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Distribute electronic fixed income products across institutional accounts, with a focus on Rates, SSA and broader flow products.
- Drive client activity through RFQ and electronic trading platforms, increasing electronic penetration and execution efficiency.
- Manage and develop institutional client relationships across asset managers, hedge funds, banks, insurance accounts and other fixed income investors.
- Work closely with trading desks to optimise pricing, liquidity, coverage and execution outcomes.
- Identify macro, curve and relative-value opportunities relevant to institutional clients.
- Support client engagement across secondary market flow and selected primary market activity where relevant.
- Contribute directly to revenue growth within a disciplined, high-volume electronic sales environment.
Candidate Profile
- Around 5 years’ experience, ideally in e-Fixed Income Sales or electronic fixed income distribution; however, candidates from Rates Sales or broader fixed income sales backgrounds will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of fixed income markets, Rates products and institutional flow.
- Proven ability to manage institutional client relationships and generate client activity.
- Familiarity with electronic trading platforms, RFQ workflows and client execution processes.
- Commercial mindset with evidence of flow generation, account development or revenue contribution.
