My client, a leading banking institution, is looking for a dynamic and analytical individual to join the product development team as a lending value analyst to play a key role in defining and enhancing lending value methodologies for financial securities used as collateral in Lombard lending.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business – including Credit Risk, Bankers, and Credit Specialists – to design, review, and enhance lending value methodologies.
- Apply your deep understanding of credit risk to develop thoughtful, data-driven proposals.
- Lead methodology reviews through governance and approval processes with clarity and confidence.
- Partner with Technology and Operations teams to support operating model changes and ensure seamless implementation of approved methodologies.
- Engage across functional teams to support the delivery of scalable, compliant, and client-focused solutions.
- Develop and manage the success of specific financial products and services, providing in-depth expertise on a particular product line, bridging the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer service.
What You Bring:
- Experience defining lending value methodologies across asset classes.
- Ability to understand the market risk of financial securities including equities, bonds, funds, and structured products.
- Skills in credit risk and financial analysis with the ability to identify opportunities, formulate proposals, and implement change.
- Ability to undertake stress testing analysis to provide first line insight on the risk profile of the product.
- Experience in private bank lending, with a focus on Lombard lending.
- Experience leading and executing change.
