Our client is a leading international bank seeking a Clearing Settlement Administrator to join their London office.
This role supports the effective settlement of treasury and loan transactions, payment processing, reconciliations, and query resolution. The successful candidate will play a key role in clearing operations and liaise regularly with internal teams, agent banks, and the Head Office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process payment instructions from internal and external clients using SCMS and FOVA
* Apply knowledge of CHAPS, Faster Payments, SWIFT MT and ISO20022 XML formats
* Investigate and respond to payment queries promptly and accurately
* Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with compliance and agent banks
* Open and close Vostro accounts in the system
* Maintain static data and update records
* Prepare daily Nostro positions and report to Funds Position Keeper
* Assist in system upgrades and operational improvements
* Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders
* Input accounting entries including fees, charges, and interest

* Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
* Experience in an international banking environment preferred
