An opportunity for an ambitious London Market compliance specialist to take the next step in their career. Join a leading international insurer, underwriting on Lloyds and Company platforms. A division of one of the world's largest insurance groups, you will be joining a dynamic and growing business environment. This is a multi-facetted role reporting directly to the COO.
- Lead a small compliance team within a London Market insurer.
- Assume ownership and management of all compliance functions including advisory, monitoring and oversight.
- Contribute to devising the annual compliance strategy plan and lead implementation.
- Ensure suitable compliance controls are designed and maintained.
- Develop an effective group-wide compliance culture and create solutions to emerging regulatory risks.
- Embed a robust and fit for purpose compliance framework.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- As this is a small team, the role will include "heavy lifting" and completing day-to-day duties.
What you need to show:
- Experience in a senior compliance role within the Syndicate / Company market.
- In depth understanding of Lloyds and FCA regulations.
- Ability to challenge where required.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.

- Permanent role with benefits package.
- Salary to £80,000 to £100,000 + 20% annual bonus target + benefits package.
