Reinsurance Broking Technician
The role in a nutshell:
- Processing and administering proportional treaty accounts and claims recoveries for XoL contracts.
This will include:
- Building trusted relationships with Cedants and Reinsurers to resolve queries and provide excellent service.
- Collaborating with colleagues in London HQ and overseas branches for accurate and timely account servicing.
- Processing proportional treaty accounts and calculating premium adjustments per slip conditions.
- Maintaining reconciliations of technical accounts.
- Monitoring technical positions and premium adjustments.
- Processing XoL claims and reinstatements from advice to settlement.
- Managing credit control, collections, and payments.
- Analyzing data and creating statistical reports.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and company procedures.
- Keeping digital and paper files accurate and up-to-date.
What you need to show:
- Understanding of Lloyds/London (re)insurance market.
- Knowledge of Treaty Technical Processing, mainly proportional treaty accounts, from broking or carrier perspective.
