Summary
We have an opportunity for a Broker Support Technician to join a vibrant team within a boutique, specialist Lloyds broking business. You will work closely with colleagues in the London office and with a global network of offices to facilitate the placement and servicing of risks.
You will need at least 3+ years\’ experience within a broker technical / support role within the Lloyds / London insurance marketplace
You will be responsible for the following duties:
* Handling own portfolio of accounts.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and insurers.
* Production of insurance documentation (eg: slips, cover notes, endorsements etc).
* Calculating premiums and processing entries on to our inhouse broking system.
* Lineslip bordereaux production and closing.
* Review and process line-slip declarations as and when required.
* Produce debit/credit notes and closings for Underwriters.
* Possible use of Xchanging, production of LPAN\’s and be competent with bureau submissions.
* Liaise with the bureau in order to resolve any queries that may arise.

In this role you will focus on a variety of different marine risks. Our client is willing to provide training and learning support to applicants who do not have exposure to marine classes.
Our client can mould the role to fit an applicant who may not posses all the experience highlighted above but who does possess some technical support skills and is keen to build knowledge.
