Summary

Our client who is a Marine Claims Consultancy is looking for a Marine Claims Handler to join their expanding Recoveries department in the Kent office. The purpose of the role is to handle and manage a caseload of Marine Claims.

Main Duties:

* Managing a caseload of Claims

* Handling the recoveries from start to finish

* Negotiating settlement

* Reviewing comprehensive documentation to determine liability

* Liaise with clients, Brokers, and Underwriters

* Responsible for handling fee income

* Maintaining relationships at all levels

Essential Skills Required:

* Previous experience within Marine Claims

* Experience with defendant and/or recoveries of claims

* Good IT skills

Desirable:

* Good organisation skills

* Excellent communication skills

* Law degree achieved
