Summary
Our client is a leading Lloyds Broker working with SME, Corporate and Multinational businesses throughout the globe to provide innovative risk solutions across a wide range of different (re)insurance classes.
You will be joining a vibrant finance team who work collectively and support each other to provide a fast and efficient service to internal and external stakeholders.
The purpose of the role is to support the finance team across all IBA, Credit Control and Operation functions.
Main Duties:
* Posting Cash received and paid on the IBA system daily
* Matching cash received/paid in against insurance transactions daily
* Weekly Bank reconciliations
* Entering insurance payments in bank daily
* Entering insurance payments in FX trading platform daily
* Liaison with external brokers; dealing with queries in the Credit Control email inbox daily
* Investigating unallocated cash and matching transactions
* Loading CSV interface files from underwriting systems to IBA system
* Matching cash in both IBA system and underlying insurance underwriting systems
* Support the Accounts Manager
Skills Required:
* Previous experience working within Credit Control/ IBA
* London Insurance Market knowledge, preferred
* Experience of using UK bank portals
* Familiar with IBA (Insurance Broking accounts) systems
* Good organisation skills
* Able to work independently and use initiative
What you need to know:
* Permanent
* Based in the City of London – hybrid (3 days in London) with 2 days home working
* Salary between £35,000 – £40,000
