An exciting opportunity to join a small, boutique insurance broker who are the UK market leaders in their niche area. As an Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to handle the placement and servicing of a designated portfolio of client accounts with an emphasis on outstanding service delivery.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working for a small business and collaborating closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals. The role can be moulded to appeal to applicants with a minimum of 2 year\’s commercial broking experience all the way through to someone with 30+ years of market knowledge.
Account Executive / Broker
Overview
* Prepare new business propositions, arrange renewals and organise mid-term adjustments.
* Analyse risk profiles and identify cover that is Fit for Purpose.
* Create client presentations and provide explanation of quotations.
* Prepare underwriter presentations.
* Lead negotiations with insurer markets and secure favourable terms.
* Provide guidance and advice to new and existing clients.
* Work with the accounting team to ensure premium collections.
* Ensure all internal systems are updated.
