We are seeking two enthusiastic individuals with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Woodlands Veterinary Group!

Location: Plymouth and Ivybridge

Contract: Permanent

2 roles available

Hours: 19.2 hours per week

Shift Pattern – Thursday 10:30 – 19:00, Saturday 13:00 – 18:00 (two in five) Saturday 08:30 – 18:00 (two in five) and Sunday 09:00-15:00 (three in five).

About the role:

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

· Answering phones and booking appointments

· Responding to queries via phone, in person and email

· Registering new clients

· Dispensing medications

· Taking payments

· Adhering to company policies and procedures to achieve key performance targets, client satisfaction and engagement

· And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice

What we\’re looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

· Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!

· Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations

· An excellent communicator with strong empathy

· Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public

· A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
