The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Due to internal promotions, we have fantastic opportunities for up to 3 receptionists to join Mildmay at Winchester (and a shift at Overton every week).
The positions available are for the following minimum hours between 8am and 8pm:
  1. Monday (at Overton) 8.30 – 6.15pm, Friday 2 – 6.30pm, Saturdays (2 in 4 Saturdays) at Winchester, averaging 18.25 hours per week
  2. Tuesday 10 – 6.30pm, Wednesday 1 – 7pm, Thursday 9 – 6pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays, averaging 24 hours per week
  3. Tuesday 2 – 7pm, Thursday 2 – 6.30pm, Friday 9 – 6pm, and 2 in 4 Saturdays, averaging 22 hours per week

As a Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals. We are a professional and personable team working in a busy environment, making the role varied and interesting.

The role involves answering phones, responding to emails, booking appointments, registering new clients, dispensing medications, taking payments, and providing a warm, welcoming experience.

Applicants should have excellent communication and organizational skills. Previous receptionist or customer-facing experience is advantageous. Veterinary industry experience is highly beneficial.

You should be able to remain calm under pressure and show empathy, whether sharing in a puppy\’s first visit or comforting a client receiving bad news.

As a receptionist, you\’ll have access to our Client Care Hub on the Knowledge Hub, where you\’ll join support sessions and training, alongside in-practice training.
