We have a fantastic opportunity for a Part-Time Evening Veterinary Receptionist to join our team here at MiNightVet Chester/Wirral.
This is a permanent role.
10 hours contracted hours per month.
Working pattern will be 1:4 weekends. Saturday & Sunday; 6pm – 11pm.
This contract is with a view to take overtime to cover annual leave and sickness.
Overtime is paid at time and half.
Evening work required until 11pm.
Includes weekday evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Flexibility is a must.
As a receptionist, you will provide a friendly, efficient and professional service to our clients and their animals. You will need to be able to work well within a team, under high pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
Previous veterinary receptionist experience would be preferable, but not essential.
Main duties would include:
- Answering the telephone
- Dealing with clients face to face and over the phone.
- Answering emails from clients, vets and referring practices.
- Answering emergency referral phone calls and arranging appointments.
- Booking appointments
- Processing prescription requests.
- Dealing with clients at the reception desk, taking payments and dealing with account enquiries.
- Answering client\’s insurance queries.
- Liaising with different teams within the practice.
- General administrator duties such as scanning and filing.
- Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system, so good IT skills would be preferable.
- Working at a fast pace.
- Cleaning duties are involved.
