Beech House Veterinary Surgery is looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. We are a friendly, professional, and supportive team located in Radcliffe. This is a full-time role, offering a great work-life balance and the opportunity to join a growing team. Salary for this role depends on experience, plus benefits.
About us:
Beech House Veterinary Surgery is a modern, small animal veterinary practice on the outskirts of Radcliffe and Little Lever. We are well-equipped with digital x-ray, endoscope, bronchoscope, electrocautery, Ligasure, dental x-ray, nerve block kit, and a well-equipped theatre with high-end ultrasound facilities. Support is available through our internal referral program in soft tissue, orthopaedic, ophthalmology, cardiology, diagnostic imaging, and medicine. We offer 15-minute consults as standard, extendable to 30 minutes for complex cases, with allocated admin time each day.
You will join a longstanding team including a Senior Vet with certificates in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, working alongside two other vets interested in surgery and medicine, supported by experienced staff including Practice Director (RVN), Head Nurse, RVNs, SVN, PCA, and receptionists. Senior Clinical Directors also provide support for complex cases.
The role:
This is a full-time, permanent Veterinary Surgeon position, including weekend rota participation. Enjoy modern facilities, a busy caseload, and opportunities for professional development in clinical and non-clinical skills such as leadership, teamwork, wellbeing, resilience, and business. There is also support for new graduates to share experiences and develop skills. The role requires confidence in routine neutering and support for the current new graduate Vet.
