We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for horsesto join us as an Equine Administrator / Receptionist atEndell Equine Hospital.

Location: Salisbury

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Between 30 – 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday between 08.00 – 17.30

About the role:

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

  • Answering phones and booking appointments
  • Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
  • Registering new clients
  • Dealing with account queries and payments
  • Completing insurance forms
  • Dispensing medications
  • Taking payments
  • And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice

What we\’re looking for in our Equine Administrator / Receptionist:

  • Previous Receptionist experience is essential;veterinary experience is a plus!
  • Experience with horses or equine knowledge is desired
  • Resilient with the ability to cope with busy and potentiallyemotional situations
  • An excellent communicator with strong empathy
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
  • A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
