About the Role
Due to continued growth, MVS is looking for an experienced Senior Service Engineer to join our Service team, supporting customers primarily across London. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role for someone who really knows their way around commercial AV, enjoys fault‑finding, gets to the root of problems and can represent MVS brilliantly on site. You’ll take ownership of service issues, working directly with customers to diagnose and resolve faults and help keep their AV systems operating effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and resolving faults across commercial AV systems, taking ownership of complex issues and getting to the root cause
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and system health checks
- Carrying out firmware updates and minor system changes
- Keeping customers informed throughout the service process
- Producing clear service reports
- Sharing technical knowledge to help improve our service
Skills & Experience
- Strong, logical fault‑finding skills, with a focus on finding the root cause
- Experience supporting UC and AV technologies, such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Crestron, Extron, Q‑SYS or Biamp
- A confident and professional approach to working with customers
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of issues
- A full UK driving licence
