MVR Rivermount Construction Ltd is a dynamic, innovation-led construction company specialising in sustainable residential and light commercial projects across Edinburgh and central Scotland. We’re expanding and looking for reliable, time-served joiners with a passion for quality craftsmanship and preferably additional experience in plumbing, electrical, plastering, or masonry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of residential and commercial joinery: doors, windows, staircases, skirtings, floors, roofing trims, etc.
- Assist with kitchen fitting, loft conversions, and refurbishments
- Ability to undertake minor plumbing, plastering, or electrical prep work is an advantage
- Work collaboratively with site managers, project coordinators, and subcontractors
- Maintain safe, clean job sites and comply with HSE and Building Regs
- Install sustainable materials such as eco-blocks and bamboo-reinforced systems
Who We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in joinery plus any of the following: plumbing, electrical work, plastering, masonry
- Must hold a valid CSCS card (or trade equivalent – JIB/ECS/NICEIC/NVQ Level 2+)
- Ability to read technical drawings and work to precise specifications
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to health safety
- Immediate availability preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or higher in relevant trade
- CITB Health
