We are NOW recruiting for a Head Vet Nurse to lead and manage the nursing team at a growing small animal veterinary practice in the HERTFORD area in Hertfordshire near to London / Essex borders.
Role
- Full time including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings and no Sundays, no OOH.
- Practice is purpose built and well equipped with ultrasound, digital Xray, in house laboratory with microscope, capnography with pulse oximetry and a theatre dedicated to sterile procedures.
- Wide and varied case load and loyal local clients with a high percentage of insured pets.
- Ideally you will have good experience in first opinion practice, strong nursing skills and managerial experience.
- Interesting and varied role and you will lead, mentor and manage the nursing team and oversee the day to day running of the clinical team.
