We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal hospital team in the fantastic Leeds area, West Yorkshire.
Responsibilities:
- Surgical vet with a PgC or similar in surgery, or looking to work towards it.
- Work alongside the Surgical Director, performing advanced and more routine surgical procedures.
- Handle a diverse and advanced surgical caseload.
- Full-time opportunity including 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and with a fixed day off per week (part-time hours may also be considered).
- The practice is a purpose-built, RCVS accredited hospital with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment including an on-site CT scanner.
- Ideally, you will also be happy to mentor junior colleagues, including the VetGDP programme.
- Join a highly skilled team of 18 vets, including multiple certificate holders.
Person Requirements:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- Experienced surgical vet.
- PgC or similar in surgery, or looking to work towards it.
Benefits:
- Salary to £75,000.00 per annum (subject to experience).
