We are now recruiting for a Head Vet to lead and manage the team at a first opinion small animal practice in the Tamworth area of Staffordshire.

Key Details:

  • 4 days a week and 1 in 3 Saturdays, with no Sundays or OOH
  • Practice is undergoing huge investment and refurbishment to provide new facilities and new up to date technologies and equipment
  • Ideally you will already have good experience in practice with strong clinical skills and experience in leading a clinical team or supporting/mentoring a team
  • This role requires you to lead a Clinical team but the focus is on the clinical side with fantastic support from an experienced management team
  • A potential partnership opportunity is available if desired
  • Join a fantastic team of 4 Vets, 6 Nurses, 3 receptionists and 2 Practice Managers
  • Further study towards veterinary management courses or clinical qualifications will be funded and encouraged
  • A great place to live and work in central England located between the cities of Birmingham and Leicester with fantastic transport links, easy access to motorway network and close to Birmingham International Airport

Person Requirements:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • Good experience in practice with strong clinical skills
  • Experience in leading a clinical team or supporting/mentoring a team

Benefits:
