We have a brilliant opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a successful small animal veterinary practice in the Mansfield area near Nottingham in the East Midlands.
Responsibilities
- Experience in all routine surgeries and be capable of very minimal sole charge.
- Warm and friendly team of 4 vets including a Certificate holder in Exotics.
- Certificates are actively encouraged.
About the Role
- Full time working 35 hours a week including 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH with the same day off every week.
- Practice is established and successful with state of the art equipment including a full laboratory suite, digital radiography, high tech ultrasound machine with a cardiac probe, ECG and tonopen etc.
- CPD allowance and certificates are actively encouraged.
- Paid RCVS, BVA, VDS, BSAVA memberships.
- Great location near to the city of Nottingham with great motorway and train links for easy commuting only 30 mins to East Midlands Airport and near to Sherwood Forest.
Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- Experience in all routine surgeries.
- Capable of very minimal sole charge.
