We are recruiting for a Night Vet to join the OOH team at a small animal veterinary hospital in LEEDS area West Yorkshire

  • This is a fantastic permanent opportunity working nights on a popular 7 nights on then 14 nights off rota
  • practice is an established, busy and successful Veterinary Hospital with up to date facilities and state of the art equipment
  • night vets regularly perform caesarians, pyometra, exploratory laparotomy with enterotomy and enterectomy, manage complex medical cases including Addisons, Ketoacidotic diabetic cases and severe pancreatitis.
  • 30 minutes OOH consults are standard
  • Previous OOH/ECC veterinary experience preferred
  • join an experienced and dedicated night team and work alongside 1 night nurse, 1 night VCA, reception cover til 10pm and Twilight nurse til midnight.
  • CPD allowance and Certificate study encouraged and supported.
  • paid RCVS, BVA and VDS memberships
  • Well located in a sought after city of LEEDS location with fantastic transport links and near to Airport.
  • Person Requirements
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • Previous OOH/ECC veterinary experience preferred
