Veterinary Surgeon vacancy - Carlisle Area, Cumbria (to £60K)

We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic small animal veterinary practice in the stunning Lake District Area of Carlisle, Cumbria.

• Full-time hours including a 1 in 4 weekend and quiet OOH rota (with any work done financially remunerated).
• Practice is established and successful with up-to-date technologies and equipment; digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, ultrasound, video-endoscope, in-house laboratory with biochemistry, haematology, etc.
• Can consider a broad range of experience for this role although ideally you will already have some experience in general practice and be confident with routine consults and surgeries.
• Join a growing, experienced and supportive Vet team with 2 Vets currently working towards certificates.
• Practice is keen to support your interests and further development.
• Generous CPD and study to certificate level encouraged and funded.
• Fantastic location in the stunning and sought‑after Lake District region and national park area in Cumbria, northwest England with mountains and stunning lakes.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Registered with the RCVS.
• Some experience in practice.
• Confident with routine consults and surgeries.
