We have a fantastic opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join a lovely first opinion small animal practice in a leafy and charming location between Bedford and Cambridge.
Responsibilities
- Varied caseload with a wide range of surgical cases including occasional orthopaedic cases.
- Full time opportunity including 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and no out of hours.
- Practice is established, successful and purpose-built with state-of-the-art equipment (tonometry, ultrasound, k laser, digital x‑rays, etc.).
- Ideally you will have good routine medical and surgical skills and be confident with some periods of sole charge.
- Happy to support individual interests and additional certification.
- Join a supportive experienced 4-veterinarian team with a 50% surgical bias and 50% medical.
- Fantastic location to enjoy Bedford and the historic city of Cambridge with easy access to the A1 and London Luton Airport and direct train links into central London.
Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- Good routine medical and surgical skills.
- Confident with some periods of sole charge.
