We have an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the growing team at a first opinion small animal practice in the Taunton area of Somerset.
- Full time including 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and no OOH. (part time hours may be considered)
- Practice is modern, equipped to a high standard and includes 3 consult rooms, theatre, cat and dog isolation wards etc.
- Caseload is varied with a good mix of surgical and medical cases and a growing local client base.

- Ideally you will already be confident in small animal medicine and surgery and able to work some sole charge
- Generous CPD allowance including funding towards certificates
- Somerset is a stunning county in the sought after South West of England and Taunton is the county town with easy access to the M5 motorways and surrounded by countryside with coast nearby.
Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
- Registered with the RCVS
- Experienced vet with a broad range of GP skills.
- Comfortable with some sole charge
