We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Vet Surgeon to join a small animal veterinary practice in the Hartlepool area of County Durham in North East of England.
Responsibilities
- Full time opportunity 40 hours a week including 1 in 4 Saturdays and no Sundays, no OOH (part time hours may also be considered)
- Practice is purpose built with up-to-date equipment and technologies including ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy/laparoscopy, etc.
- Senior role which includes mentoring less experienced team members
- Collaborate with certificate holders in surgery, dentistry, imaging, cardiology and minimally invasive surgery
- CPD funding and certificates are supported and encouraged
- Well located in the Hartlepool area, with nearby historic cities and access to beaches and countryside
Qualifications
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
- Registered with the RCVS
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Confident with routine consults and surgery
- Able to mentor less experienced team members / GDP advisory role
