We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a small animal veterinary practice in the MANCHESTER area. Full-time working 4 days a week including some weekends on a rota and no on-call.

The practice is modern and well equipped with superb equipment throughout the group, including:

  • Advanced diagnostic imaging (CT scanner, visiting MRI scanner)
  • Doppler echocardiography
  • Flexible/rigid endoscopes
  • Direct radiography suites
  • Ultrasound scanners
  • Dental radiography
  • Electrocautery
  • Laparoscopy
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Advanced anaesthesia equipment

Ideally, you will already have some experience in practice with routine surgical and medical skills and be looking to further progress. This role provides the facilities and caseload to support your development with a busy and varied first opinion caseload which will help aid your clinical progression. CPD funding and certificates are funded and strongly encouraged. The practice is well located in the South Manchester area with excellent transport links and the Peak District national park nearby.

Person Requirements:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
  • Registered with the RCVS.
