We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a large, busy and successful small animal veterinary practice in the sought after East London area.
Responsibilities
- Full time hours worked over 4 days a week including 1 in 6 weekends and 1 in 6 Saturdays on a rota and no OOH.
- Practice is spacious, purpose built to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment: ultrasound, in-house laboratory, digital radiographs, full endoscopy, CT etc.
- Caseload is busy and very varied with a wide range of surgical and medical cases.
- Role suitable for an experienced vet with at least 3 years in practice, competent with routine surgical procedures and with good diagnostic and medicinal skills.
- You will need to be confident with occasional sole charge.
- Join a fantastic 13 Vet team with individual interests from medicine to soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.
- Role offers excellent career and development opportunities and you will receive support towards studying at certificate level.
- Fantastic East London location with free on-site parking, direct transport links into central London (25 minutes) and ideally located for both City and Southend Airports.
Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- Experienced vet (at least 3 years in practice).
- Good routine surgical and medical skills.
