Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy – Head Vet – DONCASTER (to £75K)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Vet Surgeon to lead and manage the team at a small animal veterinary practice in the City of Doncaster area, South Yorkshire.

What You’ll Do

• Full‑time hours with 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and no out‑of‑hours duties.
• Lead and develop a 7‑vet practice – clinical work, coaching & mentoring of colleagues, business strategy, planning and budgeting.
• Provide surgical services including cruciate, patella, laparoscopic operations, and support diagnostics (digital imaging, Imagyst, ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy, I‑STAT).
• Maintain a high‑standard RCVS‑accredited hospital and oversee a nearby branch practice that has recently been relocated and refurbished.

What You Need

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Registered with the RCVS.
• Prior managerial experience desirable but not essential.
• Able to lead and develop a 7‑vet practice.

What You’ll Receive

• Salary up to £75,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
