Head Veterinary Surgeon – Doncaster Area

We have a great opportunity for a Head Veterinary Surgeon to lead and manage the clinical team at a small animal veterinary practice near Doncaster.

  • Excellent full-time opportunity including a Saturday rota; no Sundays or OOH.
  • Practice is purpose built with great facilities and state-of-the-art equipment and technologies.
  • Exciting opportunity for an existing Head Vet or an experienced/Senior Vet to progress.
  • You will need strong experience in practice and to be able to lead, mentor and manage a clinical team.
  • You will also need to be comfortable with working sole charge.
  • Specific interests are encouraged and post-graduate qualification or certificate supported.
  • Key role in a small, friendly and growing team.
  • CPD allowance and certificate study encouraged and fully funded.
  • Near to the City of Doncaster with great local amenities, an easy commute with bus links and nearby train station and just a short drive to the coast.
  • Relocation packages including visa sponsorship available.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • Existing Head Vet or experienced/Senior Vet to progress
  • Able to lead, mentor and manage a clinical team
  • Comfortable with working sole charge
