The predicted salary is between 43200 - 60000 £ per year.
We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a new purpose built small animal veterinary practice in the Hartlepool area, Durham.
Responsibilities
- Full time working 40 hours a week including 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays, no out of hours (part time hours also considered).
- Practice is moving into a brand new purpose built building with superb state of the art facilities and equipment; CT, Ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray and endoscopy / laparoscopy etc.
- Role is suitable for a more experienced vet and there is good potential for those looking for a more senior role.
- You will need to be confident with both routine consults and surgery and is happy to sometimes work sole charge.
- You will be joining a large and supportive team including certificate holders in; surgery, dentistry, imaging, cardiology and minimally invasive surgery.
- CPD allowance and paid RCVS and VDS fees.
- Well located in coastal Durham area with access to some outstanding beaches and beautiful countryside and with the historic cities of Durham and York nearby.
Qualifications
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- Routine surgical and medical skills.
- Able to work some periods of sole charge.
