We are now recruiting for a Farm Vet to join the team at a farm animal veterinary practice in the Taunton area of Somerset.

  • full time permanent opportunity including a 1 in 6 OOH rota
  • practice is established and successful with up to date equipment and technologies
  • caseload is interesting and varied with over 30 dairies on routine visits plus beef, sheep and significant young stock work.
  • ideally you will already have experience in farm practice and be ready to take on routine fertility work and drive clinical offerings.
  • join an experienced team of farm vets, with expertise in the dairy sector and a dedicated TB testing team.
  • generous CPD budget and post-grad qualifications and areas of interest supported.
  • stunning Somerset location with both the picturesque Quantock and Blackdown hills and the Jurassic Coast (World heritage site) nearby.
  • Company vehicle & equipment provided

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • experience in farm practice
