We are now recruiting for a Farm Vet to join the team at a farm animal veterinary practice in the Taunton area of Somerset.
- full time permanent opportunity including a 1 in 6 OOH rota
- practice is established and successful with up to date equipment and technologies
- caseload is interesting and varied with over 30 dairies on routine visits plus beef, sheep and significant young stock work.
- ideally you will already have experience in farm practice and be ready to take on routine fertility work and drive clinical offerings.
- join an experienced team of farm vets, with expertise in the dairy sector and a dedicated TB testing team.
- generous CPD budget and post-grad qualifications and areas of interest supported.
- stunning Somerset location with both the picturesque Quantock and Blackdown hills and the Jurassic Coast (World heritage site) nearby.
- Company vehicle & equipment provided
Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
- Registered with the RCVS
- experience in farm practice
