Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy – Doncaster (to £60K)
We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a highly regarded local small animal veterinary practice in the excellent city of Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
- Full time opportunity working 4 days a week with only 1 in 8 Saturday mornings on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH.
- Highly regarded hospital with superb facilities and equipment including Imagyst, ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy and i-STAT.
- Wide and varied caseload with a range of surgeries in-house (cruciate and patella surgery, laparoscopic procedures, BOAS surgery) and ability to manage majority of medical cases in-house.
- Fantastic development opportunity with plenty of support available.
- Friendly and supportive team of 8 vets with diverse interests: medicine, surgery and diagnostic imaging certificate holders.
- Certificates and CPD encouraged and funded.
- Paid RCVS, BVA memberships and VDS fees.
- Bring well-behaved pets to work with you.
- Fabulous location with easy access to A1M and M18 and to larger cities of Sheffield and Leeds, and nearby countryside and coast.
Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- Experience in practice and keen to further develop.
