Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy – Doncaster (to £60K)

We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a highly regarded local small animal veterinary practice in the excellent city of Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

  • Full time opportunity working 4 days a week with only 1 in 8 Saturday mornings on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH.
  • Highly regarded hospital with superb facilities and equipment including Imagyst, ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy and i-STAT.
  • Wide and varied caseload with a range of surgeries in-house (cruciate and patella surgery, laparoscopic procedures, BOAS surgery) and ability to manage majority of medical cases in-house.
  • Fantastic development opportunity with plenty of support available.
  • Friendly and supportive team of 8 vets with diverse interests: medicine, surgery and diagnostic imaging certificate holders.
  • Certificates and CPD encouraged and funded.
  • Paid RCVS, BVA memberships and VDS fees.
  • Bring well-behaved pets to work with you.
  • Fabulous location with easy access to A1M and M18 and to larger cities of Sheffield and Leeds, and nearby countryside and coast.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
  • Registered with the RCVS.
  • Experience in practice and keen to further develop.
