We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the growing team at a first opinion small animal veterinary practice in the Chesterfield area, Derbyshire. Excellent full time opportunity working 40 hours a week with 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and no out‑of‑hours duties.

Modern, light and spacious practice with state‑of‑the‑art equipment including digital X‑ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring and in‑house laboratory facilities. Ideally you already have experience in practice and are confident in both medicine and surgical procedures. Role offers excellent career progression opportunities and funding is available for certificates. Join a growing, friendly and supportive team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons.

Well located south of Sheffield and north of Derby and Nottingham with easy M1 motorway access on the edge of the Peak District; the practice benefits from beautiful surroundings.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
  • Registered with the RCVS.
  • Some experience in practice.
  • Confidence in medicine and surgical procedures.
