We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic first opinion small animal practice in the city of Derby area, East Midlands. This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week including a 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays. The practice is designed to industry leading standards, with state-of-the-art equipment and in-house laboratory facilities.

Ideally, you will have good general small animal surgical and medical skills as well as a good knowledge of working up cases. This role provides a brilliant opportunity within a friendly, welcoming and supportive team of 3 other vets. Clinical development is encouraged and supported with funding towards a certificate available.

Person Requirements:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • General small animal surgical and medical skills
