We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic first opinion small animal practice in the city of Derby area, East Midlands. This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week including a 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays. The practice is designed to industry leading standards, with state-of-the-art equipment and in-house laboratory facilities.
Ideally, you will have good general small animal surgical and medical skills as well as a good knowledge of working up cases. This role provides a brilliant opportunity within a friendly, welcoming and supportive team of 3 other vets. Clinical development is encouraged and supported with funding towards a certificate available.
A great place to live and work - Derby is a well-located city in the central East Midlands area close to the A38 and M1 motorway, with good transport links to Nottingham and East Midlands Airport and to the stunning countryside of the Peak District.
Person Requirements:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
- Registered with the RCVS
- General small animal surgical and medical skills
