Overview
Veterinary Nurse Vacancy – Welwyn Garden City Area (to £30K). We have a great opportunity for a Registered Vet Nurse to join a first opinion small animal veterinary practice in the Welwyn Garden City area, Hertfordshire.
Responsibilities
- Full-time hours with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota (extra pay or time off in lieu) and no Sundays, no OOH (part-time hours also considered).
- Assist in all areas from theatre to nurse clinics; experience with anaesthetics and nurse clinics is desirable.
- Practice is purpose-built with ultrasound, digital X-ray, in-house laboratory with microscope, capnography with pulse oximetry, theatre dedicated to sterile procedures, etc.
- Manage a varied caseload with visiting specialists for cardiac scans, abdominal ultrasound with sampling and orthopaedic procedures, etc.
- CPD encouraged and funded; VDS and RCVS fees paid.

- Qualified Veterinary Nurse
- Registered with RCVS
- Good veterinary nursing experience

- Salary up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
