We are now looking to recruit a Registered Vet Nurse with a keen interest in Dermatology to join the team at a small animal hospital in the Liverpool area of Merseyside.
Role:
- Excellent full-time permanent opportunity on day rota with 1 in 5 weekends and no OOH.
- Practice is a busy hospital and is fully equipped with up-to-date equipment and technologies.
- Role would suit an RVN with a keen interest in Dermatology to assist with the case load in a busy dermatology clinic.
- You will work closely with the Dermatology Veterinary Surgeon assisting in the workup of new cases and support of ongoing cases.
- Interesting and varied role includes organising dermatology department, ordering stock, maintaining equipment, care of Dermatology day patients, general anaesthesia, performing specific laboratory tests etc.
Join a welcoming, supportive and friendly team of 20 vets and 50 nurses at the main hospital. Super location close to the vibrant cities of Liverpool and Manchester and their airports and within easy reach of the Lake District and coast as well as beautiful North Wales.
Requirements:
- Qualified Vet Nurse
- Registered with RCVS
- Good general small animal nursing skills.
- Keen interest in Dermatology
Salary package:
- Salary to £35,000.00 per annum to reflect your experience
- CPD, paid holidays, paid professional fees, pension scheme, staff discounts etc.
