We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Vet Nurse to join an excellent nursing team at a small animal veterinary practice in the Lancaster area, Lancashire.

Role

  • Full time opportunity with Wednesdays off every week and Fridays off when working a Saturday - 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH.
  • Practice is a purpose built, state of the art premises offering fantastic facilities and equipment.
  • Varied first opinion caseload with wonderful local clients and pets.
  • Ideally you will have experience in practice and be confident in conducting nurse consults / clinics and comfortable with monitoring anaesthesia / theatre duties.
  • You will join a lovely team of 3 Vets, 4 RVNs, 4 reception/client care team and practice manager.
  • Varied interests within the team including; Cert VN ECC, ISFM DipFN & Adv Cert FB, several qualifications in canine massage therapy and rehabilitation and a qualification in acupuncture.
  • CPD allowance and great development opportunities.
  • Fantastic location in the city of Lancaster area between classic seaside towns of Morecambe Bay, the stunning Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales.

  • Registered with RCVS
  • Experience in practice.

Salary package

  • Salary up to £31,000.00 per annum to reflect your experience.
  • CPD allowance, paid holidays, RCVS and VDS fees paid, pension scheme, healthcare scheme, discounted veterinary fees, enhanced family friendly policies etc.
