Vet Surgeon needed to join a small animal veterinary practice on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract near the Cambridge area, Cambridgeshire. This contract is to cover a period of maternity leave starting ASAP, with full time working of 40 hours a week including 1 in 4 Saturdays, no OOHs and no Sundays. The practice is a busy first opinion veterinary practice with superb facilities and equipment.

The role requires confidence with routine surgeries and consults. You will work alongside a forward-thinking team of experienced vets and visiting orthopaedic surgeon and cardiologist. This role can be tailor-made to suit your interests - surgical bias, consult-only role or something else. It is a great spot for commuting, with London and Cambridge both easily accessible via public transport and the A14/A1 if travelling by road.

Person Requirements:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
