We are recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team at a small animal veterinary practice in the Glasgow Port area of Inverclyde, Scotland. The role is 40 hours a week and includes a 1 in 4 weekend rota with no out-of-hours work. The practice is RCVS accredited and well-established with up-to-date equipment and technologies, including multi-parameter monitors, the latest laparoscopy equipment, a fully equipped laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiography, and dental X-ray.

We are looking for a proactive and compassionate RVN who is interested in further development and gaining additional qualifications. Ideally, you will be confident in nurse consultations and able to develop a range of nurse clinics. Join a fantastic and supportive team of vets, nurses, ACAs, and receptionists.

The practice is well located in the Port Glasgow area, approximately 30 minutes from Central Glasgow and 15 minutes from Glasgow Airport, with Port Glasgow beach and the River Clyde on the doorstep, as well as nearby rural attractions.

Requirements:

  • Registered with RCVS

Salary package: Salary up to £33,000.00 per annum to reflect your experience. Includes CPD allowance, paid holidays, paid RCVS and VDS fees, healthcare scheme, workplace pension scheme, and enhanced family-friendly policies.
