Job Overview

We are looking to recruit for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic team at a small animal veterinary practice near to Taunton in beautiful Somerset.

Role Details

• Full time opportunity including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings and no OOH.
• Practice is purpose built with great facilities, up to date equipment and ample parking and popular amenities nearby.
• Great reputation locally and a varied surgical and medical caseload.
• Role would ideally suit an experienced vet confident in all aspects of everyday small animal medicine and surgery.
• If you enjoy mentoring and are interested in becoming a Vet GDP Advisor this would be a great opportunity for you.
• Generous CPD allowance and support towards certificates; RCVS, BVA and VDS fees are paid.
• Beautiful Somerset location and an easy walk to train, close to town centre, surrounded by countryside and 1 hour away from Exeter, Bath and also the stunning coast.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Registered with the RCVS.
• Confident in all aspects of everyday small animal medicine and surgery.
