We are recruiting for a Head Vet to lead and manage the team at a first opinion small animal practice in the Tamworth area of Staffordshire.
Responsibilities
- Lead a Clinical team with a focus on clinical work while supported by an experienced management team.
- Work 4 days a week and 1 in 3 Saturdays, with no Sundays or out-of-hours duties.
- Contribute to the ongoing refurbishment and investment in new facilities and up-to-date equipment.
- Lead clinical practice with strong clinical skills and experience in leading a clinical team or mentoring a team.
- Collaborate with a supportive management team; opportunities for partnership may be available if desired.
- Join a team of 4 Vets, 6 Nurses, 3 receptionists and 2 Practice Managers.
Qualifications
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- Good experience in practice with strong clinical skills.
- Experience in leading a clinical team or mentoring a team.
