We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head Vet Surgeon to join a small animal veterinary practice in the Stoke on Trent area of Staffordshire.
Full‑time hours with one Saturday morning per month; no Sundays or after‑hours shifts.
Spacious practice with state‑of‑the‑art equipment – digital X‑ray, ultrasound, blood‑pressure measurement, in‑house laboratory facilities, etc.
Suitable for an existing Head Vet looking for change or a senior/experienced vet stepping up. Requires good practice experience and competence in both medical and surgical procedures. Requires ensuring clinical standards are maintained and mentoring junior vets.
Team of 3 vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN and 2 receptionists. Practice supports CPD and certificates; all specialisms welcome and highly encouraged.
Well‑located in the City of Stoke on Trent with good local transport links and easy access to the countryside and other cities.
Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- Head Vet looking for change or senior/very experienced vet stepping up.
