Vet Surgeon Vacancy - Hospital Role - SHEFFIELD area (to £75K)

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at the busy and successful small animal veterinary hospital near City of Sheffield area, South Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

• Full-time opportunity on a hospital day rota, including some weekends and no OOH (part-time hours also considered).
• Practice is an RCVS recognised outstanding Small Animal Hospital and Emergency Services Clinic and a centre of excellence, fully equipped with advanced medical equipment and technologies.
• Caseload is busy, interesting and varied with services such as neurosurgery, orthopaedics, minimally invasive surgery, stem cell therapy, chemotherapy, alongside first opinion practice.
• If you are an experienced veterinary surgeon looking for a team to support them through their certificate this could be the perfect role for you.
• Join a highly skilled hospital team of 15 Vets (including own out-of-hours team), 24 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 5 Care Assistants and a fabulous non clinical support team.
• CPD allowance and Certificates encouraged and supported.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• Confident in handling routine surgical and medical cases
• Able to manage a diverse caseload
• Committed to providing excellent service
