We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an independently owned small animal veterinary practice in the Reading area, Berkshire.
Key Responsibilities & Working Hours
- Excellent full‑time position: 4 days a week with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota; no out‑of‑hours duties (part‑time hours may also be considered).
- Initially work as a sole‑charge veterinarian while the practice grows.
- Collaborate with another permanent vet and visiting ophthalmology, soft‑tissue and orthopaedic surgeons.

- Practice opened last year; modern facilities including digital radiography, ultrasonography, in‑house lab and dedicated surgical suites.

Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
