We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an independently owned small animal veterinary practice in the Reading area, Berkshire.

Key Responsibilities & Working Hours

  • Excellent full‑time position: 4 days a week with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota; no out‑of‑hours duties (part‑time hours may also be considered).
  • Initially work as a sole‑charge veterinarian while the practice grows.
  • Collaborate with another permanent vet and visiting ophthalmology, soft‑tissue and orthopaedic surgeons.
  • Opportunity for development and career progression.
  • Practice opened last year; modern facilities including digital radiography, ultrasonography, in‑house lab and dedicated surgical suites.
  • Convenient location near Reading and Greater London with excellent transport links.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
  • Registered with the RCVS.
  • Dynamic, experienced veterinarian.
