We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a first opinion small animal practice in a desirable area of Nottingham, East Midlands.

Responsibilities

  • Full time working 40 hours a week including a 1 in 5 weekend rota with no OOH.
  • Practice is spacious and modern with facilities including in-house dental x-ray, digital x-ray, in-house lab, separate wards, laparoscopy equipment, etc.
  • Caseload is interesting and varied and regularly perform laparoscopic spays and cystoscopy.
  • Role offers a great development opportunity with a huge variety in terms of caseloads each day and a fast-paced environment.
  • Join a 5 Vet team with a wide range of experience including Exotics and Surgical certificate holders and interests in imaging and dentistry.
  • Excellent career opportunities, with support for long-term development including certificates.
  • Great place to live and work; enjoy the city life of Nottingham on your doorstep, the Peak District and Sherwood Forest nearby, with great transport links near the M1 motorway and East Midlands Airport.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
  • Registered with the RCVS.
  • Some experience in practice.
  • Looking to further develop.
