We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon with a Surgical Bias to join a growing small animal veterinary practice in Nottingham, East Midlands.
Responsibilities and Role Details
- Full time opportunity 40 hours a week including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings and no Sundays, no OOH.
- Practice is purpose built with state of the art equipment; Digital x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, ultrasonic dental, biochem, microscope, full surgical facilities etc.
- Ideally you will have a surgical bias and be confident in a wide range of surgical procedures and some experience with emergency and critical care.
- Support is available if you are interested in studying towards a certificate.
- Join a fantastic 4 Vet team with opportunity to support and mentor junior vets within the team if desired.
- CPD allowance and paid RCVS, VDS fees.
- Fantastic location in affluent and thriving area in the City of Nottingham area with great transport links and easy access to M1 motorway and East Midlands Airport.
Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- Ideally you have a surgical bias.
- Confident in a wide range of surgical procedures.
- Some experience with emergency and critical care.
