We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Theatre Vet Nurse to provide a period of maternity cover at a small animal veterinary practice in the East London area. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a 12-month maternity cover Senior Theatre Veterinary Nurse role.
Full time with hours including 1 in 6 weekends with TOIL, 2 bank holidays per year and last resort on-call rotation once every 1 in 10 weeks. The practice is well equipped with everything you would need to provide the highest standards of care including a CT scanner and commercial laboratory.
The caseload is interesting and varied, including first opinion and internal referral cases with diverse surgical cases including advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery on site. Ideally, you will be an experienced hospital RVN with a keen interest in the theatre environment and able to take the reins of 4 theatres, ensuring they are run efficiently and to the highest standard.
Join a large team consisting of around 25 vets, 27 RVNs, 14 SVNs, 7 VCAs and a large front of house team. Superb East London location just a short walk to a Central Line tube station.
Requirements:
- Qualified Vet Nurse
- Registered with RCVS
- Experienced hospital RVN
- Keen interest in theatre nursing
Salary Package:
Salary to £39,000.00 per annum to reflect your experience. CPD Allowance, paid holidays, paid RCVS fees, pension scheme, private medical healthcare scheme etc.
